Catherine Veronica Edgehill

The death is announced of Mrs. Catherine Edgehill of Grand Mal, St. George's Grenada, formerly of St. Paul’s, who resided in the United States. She was 91 years old, having been born Dec 1st 1922 and died on February 23rd 2014. Left to mourn are her husband Mr. William Edgehill of New York, her daughters Arlene Edgehill of the United Kingdom, Evelyn Mitchell of New York, and sons, Alister, Benson and Reuben Edgehill of New York and daughter, Judy Campbell, son-in-law Harold Campbell, and daughter-in-law Valcina Edgehill all of New York. Mrs Edgehill was predeceased by her beloved eldest son Edmund Edgehill. Her grandchildren, Micah, Andrew, and Stephen Lessey, Daniele, Dwight and Joel Campbell, Jasmine, Rodney, Raynelle, Edmund and Joshua Edgehill of New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Georgia, and her sister Doreen Williams of St. Paul’s, Grenada. Several nieces including Daphney Croney, Velma Williams, Elvira Crawford of St. Paul’s, Eileen and Jean Crawford of Trinidad, and Sally Clarke and Charmaine Toussaint of Grand Mal. Her nephews Earle Crawford of Grand Anse, Barrington and Wilcox Roberts, Eugene and Steve Crawford. Sammy, Cedric, Michael Danley, Kenneth and John Edgehill of Brooklyn New York. Other relatives including Tony Alleyne of Grand Mal, the Bishop, Dolland, Harris and Noel families of Beaulieau, St. Pauls and New York, and the Elms, Searles, Clarke, Greaves, Dowden, Hinds, Griffith, Kerr, Gittens, Edwards, Regis and Medford families of Mt. Moritz, USA, Canada, Norway, Australia, and Grand Mal. The funeral of the late Catherine Edgehill will be held on Saturday 1st March at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes at 824 Scarsdale Avenue, Scarsdale New York.
