Esther Lao of Scarsdale, New York died on April 19, 2012 at the NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. She was 85 years old. She was the widow of Benjamin Lao. She was a beloved mother to her daughters Maria Serapio (Vince), Elizabeth Berke (Jay), Theresa Lykoudis (Michael), Mary Ann Lao, Deanna Malberg (Marty) and Betty Kirwin (Edward) and a proud grandmother to Paul Serapio, Marisa Lum (Jeff), Anna Bunag, Christopher White, Alexander & Nicholas Lykoudis, and Christina, Grace & Edward Kirwin. She is survived by her brother Antonio Kohtiao. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Monday April 23, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale. Entombment Ferncliff Cemetery Hartsdale NY. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-4 &7-9 PM.
