Helen B. Burns, 88, of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Eastchester, NY died February 10, 2013 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years. John J. (Jack) Burns, her mother, father and sister, Irene. Helen was born December 14, 1924 in Manhattan NY to the late Paul and Katalin Bago. She attended Hunter High School and Hunter College. On June 17, 1950, she married John J. Burns in NYC.
Helen is survived by her children, J. Randolph of NYC, Lauren Burns of Vero Beach, Fl and Lynette Mariani and her husband Peter of Eastchester NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lyndsey and PJ. Mariani of Eastchester, NY and Larissa and Lia Ferretti of Vero Beach Fl.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10AM Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Scarsdale NY.
Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery Valhalla. Visiting Hours Thursday 6-9 PM.
