Margaret Amodio

Margaret C. Amodio, a lifelong resident of White Plains, NY, passed away at home on June 19, 2023. Margaret loved her family and spent her whole life dedicated to them. She is survived by her four children: Mary Ann (John Bruno), Frank, Catherine (Paul Gluck), and James (Maureen Usowski). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Carly D’Arpino (Anthony), Kevin (Lisa Colangelo), Katie, Andrew Gluck (Nicole Dargush), Elizabeth Gluck, Nicholas, Catherine, and James, as well as her great-grandchildren, Timothy, Quinn, and Angelo. She was predeceased by her husband, James; parents, Catherine and Bartholomew Martini; brother, Albert; and daughter-in-law, Jean.

Margaret and her husband were the owners of Amodio’s Garden Center in White Plains for more than fifty years. She served her community and her church, constantly going above and beyond for those she loved. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be at Bennett funeral home in Scarsdale, NY, on Thursday, June 22nd, from 4–7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, June 23rd, at St. Pius X church in Scarsdale, NY, at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be at Mount Cavalry Cemetery in White Plains, NY, at 11:15 a.m.
