We had enjoyed every Monday lunch meeting with Muriel and Charlie at their home in Scarsdale. She was my mother in N.Y. The members of the meeting still have a lunch meeting every year in Tokyo. We really want to say thank you to Muriel for all of her kindness and love.

We will always remember the first Lady we met when we came fisrt in Scardale, we will always remember Muriel your first words in French: " Bienvenue les Amis".
Because we know that you loved to speak French with us, today we would like to tell you in French: "good bye Muriel".
"Nous vous envoyons la ou vous etes avec Charly nos prieres, au revoir Muriel".

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers

Claudia, Charlie, and Michael,
I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing.  She was a great friend to my mother, the "other Muriel", for many years, a friendship that began when you all moved in next to us in Yonkers.  I have many fond, happy memories of your mother; she was always fun to talk to.  She will be missed by many, but especially you, her loving family.

Dear Claudia, Michael and Charlie,

I am sad to hear that your mom has passed away.  She was a lovely lady, and I have very fond memories of her, particularly the ease with which she made others feel comfortable and welcome.  She was her children's biggest fan, and I feel priviledged to have known her a little.

I knew her as Aunt my entire life and though we shared no blood relation I love her just as if there was.  I used to love going to her house when I was a little girl.  She taught me how to play 'Frosty the Snowman' on the organ, and we would feed the squirrels in the back yard.  Those are the memories I will hold dear to my heart.  Later in life my family moved to Arizona and my visits with Muriel were not as often as I would have liked, but always wonderful when I did get to see or talk to her.  

My thought go out to her children and grandkids.

I have known your Mother and Father, since I was a little boy.  We three have sent Christmas cards every year.  


Your Mom will be missed in my life. She had a great personality!  Always laughing and joking.  She and I were always excited to see each other.  I have many happy memories with her, your Dad and Grandma and Grandpa on the famous High Falls Road.   


They all, including Aunt Emma and Uncle Marsh, have been patiently waiting for your Mom, to come to the "Other Side".   Can you imagine the laughter and celebration on July 7th. when you Mother arrived! 


Weren't we the lucky ones to have had God send us such wonderful PARENTS!    Thank You for sharing your family with me.
