Barry Keith Etzweiler

Barry Keith Etzweiler, 74, of Newmanstown, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 in his home. He was the husband of Connie M. Sites Etzweiler with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. He was born in Lebanon County on January 29, 1942, a son of the late David M. and Lillian E. Planken Etzweiler. He was employed as a mechanic and truck driver. He loved riding horses and was a caretaker for Clyde Martin Memorial (Lanco) Speedway. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Barbara A. Dundore and husband Thomas of Womelsdorf; Patricia A. Whary of Dover; Brian K. Etzweiler and friend Wanda Weaver of Newmanstown; Gail M. Bracken and husband Robert of Newmanstown; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Anna Monk of Missouri; Ethel Mathias of Jonestown. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Dale, Curtis and David Etzweiler; sisters, Geraldine and Myrtle; and grandson, Robert Thomas Dundore. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11 am in St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1432 Heidelberg Ave., Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on Friday at 10 am. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Barry’s family at 166 Sunnyside Road, Newmanstown, PA 17073.
