Conrad “Connie” C. Krall, 92, formerly of Schaefferstown, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in his Myerstown residence. He was the husband of Eva M. Behm Krall. They would have celebrated 69 years of marriage on March 15th. He was born in Schaefferstown on January 31, 1929, son of the late Charles M. and Edna L. Smith Krall. Connie was employed at North American Refractories in Womelsdorf for many years. He also worked at Omstead Air Force Base in Middletown and tended bar at Quentin Riding Club and the Franklin House in Schaefferstown. He was a sports enthusiast and in his younger years he played basketball, soccer and baseball. He enjoyed following NASCAR and race cars in general. Connie especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Brenda S. Bechtold and husband Lewis of Lancaster; Sharon D. Uhrich and husband Kent of Bethel; grandchildren, Cody Uhrich, Veronica Bechtold and Chelsee Miller and husband Adam; great grandchildren, Stella Miller, Lucas Miller and Juniper Miller; sister, Loretta Bennetch of Schaefferstown; and niece, Leslie Schaeffer. Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1304 Heidelberg Ave., Schaefferstown, PA. PLEASE FOLLOW CDC GUIDELINES.
