Dolores J. Kline Leedy

Dolores J. Leedy, 73, of Myerstown, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in her residence. She was the wife of the late Leonard H. Leedy. She was born in Palmyra on October 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Walter and Grace Brightbill Kline. Dolores was employed as a secretary for the ELCO Middle School for many years. She was former owner of Len's Friendly Market in Newmanstown. She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Schaefferstown. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters, Michelle wife of Dale Longenecker and Lori wife of Dean Newswanger both of Schaefferstown; grandchildren, Eric, Erin, Sandrine and Ethan Longenecker, Ashley Klick and Courtney and Seth Newswanger; great granddaughter, Isabel Klick; sisters, Dorothy Herr and Bonnie Weaver both of Palmyra; Linda Whary of Harrisburg. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00PM in the St. Luke Lutheran Church, 107 E. Main St., Schaefferstown with a visitation beginning on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory the GSH Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
