Edna O. Shirk

Edna O. (Horst) Shirk, 85 of Newmanstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at home. She was born in Lancaster on February 14, 1941, a daughter of the late Michael H. and Mary N. (Oberholtzer) Horst. Edna was the wife of Daniel B. Shirk. She was a member of the Millbach Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). Edna is survived by her husband Daniel and children: Susan H., wife of Jay Clair Sensenig, Denver, Pa; Wilma H., wife of Lewis B. Weaver, Fleetwood, Pa; Michael H., husband of Joann M. (Stauffer) Shirk, Myerstown, Pa; Maynard H., husband of Joann L. (Horst) Shirk, Myerstown, Pa; Rhoda H., wife of Nelson L. Leid, Lebanon, Pa; Sylvia H., wife of Duane W. Leinbach, Narvon, Pa; Nancy H., wife of Leroy E. Leid, Lebanon, Pa; Aaron H., husband of Kathryn M. ( Martin) Shirk, Landisburg, Pa; Mary H., wife of Ernest Z. Horning, Lebanon, Pa and George H. husband of Diane S. (Weiler) Shirk, Newmanstown, Pa; 85 grandchildren and 76 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Fairview Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA, 17042. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 9:30 AM at Millbach Mennonite Church, 3 N. Millbach Rd, Newmanstown, 17073. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
