Larry Lee Simmon, 85 of Richland, passed away in Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born in Richland on April 6, 1941, a son of the late Irwin Herbert and Beatrice H. (Belleman) Simmon. Mr. Simmon was an Inspector for PennDOT where he retired. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam where he received the Viet Nam Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and Purple Heart. He was a member of the Neptune Fire Company Fire Police and Grace United Church of Christ in Richland. Surviving are a niece and nephews: Susan Simmon; Randy Simmon; David Simmon and Mark Simmon. Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown, PA, 17088 on Thursday April 16, 2026 from 9:00AM to 10:30AM with a Graveside Service to follow in Richland Cemetery at 11:00AM.
