Leroy F. Shirk, Jr., 82, of Myerstown, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Luther Acres, Lititz. He was the husband of Edna E. May Shirk. He was born July 25, 1931 in Martindale, a son of the late Leroy B. and Edith M. Frankhouser Shirk. Leroy was a builder by trade and served as a Missionary for many years. He was a member of the Fairhaven Mennonite Church in Myerstown. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Mabel Ann Shirk of Lebanon; Naomi wife of Larry Burkholder of Myerstown; a son, Leroy M. Shirk of Denver; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Gascho of FL; Ruth Nisley of DE; Shirley Ebersole of Myerstown. Memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Fairhaven Mennonite Church, S. Railroad St. & W. Stoever Ave., Myerstown, PA. Private service and interment was held at an earlier date.
