

Miriam M. “Dolly” Hoffman, 87, of Newmanstown, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2024. She was the loving wife of Thomas G. Hoffman for 67 years and was the love of his life. Dolly was born in Lancaster county on March 10, 1936 a daughter of the late Adam and Mae Flory Kline. She was a favorite waitress of patrons of the former Kumm Esse Diner for 36 years. She was an active member of Bridge of Hope Church, Womelsdorf and had a flourishing social life filled with many great friends. She enjoyed riding motorcycle and listening to live music. Her passions included spending many hours in her glorious gardens; playing cards and taking the classic yellow Ford truck to shows. She could often be found screaming for the Phillies and the Cowboys or watching sunsets and the morning birds with Tom. Dolly was the light in every room and the heartbeat of her family which she cherished deeply. She always found the perfect jewelry for every outfit, even matching with Tom. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and former co-workers. In addition to her husband she is survived by children: Sherry and husband Paul; Tom “Hubby”; Dwain and wife Michele; grandson: Brad and his fiancé Kristin. A Celebration of Life drop-in will be held on March 15th from 2 to 4pm in Bridge of Hope Church 309 W. Franklin St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567.
