Armando Barbosa

Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Jaime and Margarida (Lomba) Barbosa. Loving brother of the late Jose’ Barbosa.

Devoted father of Jaime Barbosa of Myrtle Beach, SC, Thomas Barbosa of Akron, OH, Laura “Maggie” Moore and her husband Brian Moore of Halifax, MA, and Adelisa Barbosa and her late husband, Philip Von Iderstein of Scituate. Cherished grandfather of Brian, Courtney, Eric, Audrey, Alexandra, Xavier, Christopher, Michael, and beloved Amy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held from 3-7 pm on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Massachusetts. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 10, 2026, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate, Massachusetts. Burial immediately to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Meetinghouse Lane, Scituate, Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
