

Catherine “Kay” (Cunningham) Wynn, 92, of Scituate, died on April 19. She was born in Solomon, KS on July 5, 1918, the daughter of Samuel and Barbara (Samuels) Cunningham. After graduation from Solomon High School, she worked for the R.E.A. Beloved wife of Morgan Wynn, they were married for 65 years until his death in 2006. She was a loving mother to J. Douglas Wynn and his wife Joan of Garden Grove, CA, Mary (Wynn) Fitzgerald and her husband Daniel, of Scituate, and Barbara (Sr. Mary Frances) Wynn of Petersham, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rick Van Tuyl, Kimberly Sloan, and Robert Wynn, all of California, Tess Fitzgerald of Scituate, MA, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews to whom she was devoted. Kay and her husband lived in California for 52 years, where Morgan had a floor covering business. After his retirement they traveled extensively. In 1990 they moved to Scituate. A gifted homemaker, a good neighbor and friend to many, she was dearly loved by all who met her. Kay was an active member of the Catholic Church, St. Anne’s Guild, the Altar Society and the Legion of Mary. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home 382 First Parish Road Scituate, MA. Tuesday April 26th at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary of the Nativity Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday from 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited.
