Thank you for your contributions to the Glens Falls City School's music department. I was a privilege to have taught with such a talented colleague.

Evan, your mom pointed to the "EZ" on the wall of the dressing room at the GFHS auditorium.  It was muted, so the letters were offset, but would always be visible and never painted over because they didn't appear to be graffiti to the untrained eye.  She put great love of music into everyone's heart. And she talked about you to me, when I was in her classes and productions.  I used to ask Doug Ford if you were real, and if as a high school student you really played Styx covers.... like your mom said you did.  I realize these are very personal memories to share in public.  But, that's what your mom was... a public school teacher who took each of us personally.  She paid it further forward than she'll ever know.  I graduated in 90 and I still think of her every time I go on stage.  Her memory is cherished and she is dearly missed.

I am 41 years old, but I often think about how you let us sing "Eye of the Tiger" and some Chicago/Peter Cetera songs in 7th grade in the great big LGI at the old middle school.  Very cool to a 12 year old. Thanks.

I was a student of Ms. Zweifel's over 20 years ago, and although she could be tough, I will always remember her humor and dedication. If her family reads this, I hope they will know she made a difference to many and that I am glad she touched my life.

Although we only met Connie a couple of times we have fond memories of her warmth and graciousness.  Never had the privilege of hearing her play the trombone, but understand she was one of the best.

It is a very sad day not to hear you play your trombone, but God has a brass choir that needs your talent, and he is so glad you are there to keep the others in tune. Peace for you.

I will so miss your love of musicals, Gilbert and Sullivan and Tom Lehrer, plus all the wonderful lunches at Jays in Fort Collins. I'll always remember your wonderful parts on stage in Glens Falls. I admired your overly generous nature and thought you were one of the best and coolest grandmothers on the planet. And I couldn't have asked for a more understanding mother-in-law. Sitting next to Connie made me a much better trombonist, and I enjoyed seeing her at Tuba Christmas.

I always appreciated her warm welcome when visiting Scituate from Alaska and Atlanta. I will miss her her!

I played many concerts with Constance. She was a fine woman and a fine musician. She will be greatly missed.

You will be missed Connie. Wish I got to know you better, but I will remember the times we did have together and with your mom, she was the greatest. Play us a song up there and stop by and say 'hi' to my husband...and my grandson.... I am sure you will find them together.

It was no easy task teaching the advantages of individuality to teenagers.  Ms. Zweifel did this for me and I will be forever thankful

Thanks for all you did for my Mother, Madeleine and for being a good friend to me.  We grew up across the street from each other in Scituate and I have wonderful memories of the Bailey clan getting together for birthdays and holidays and especially Thanksgiving at your parents house.

I was deeply saddened to here of Connie's passing. She was a big part of our Bay Band's family. Her talent, commitment and friendship will be missed. They say the dynamic range of a trombone is either on or off, well Connie was “on”.

Thank you so much for always pushing me to understand and appreciate the hard work behind our craft.  You live on through every student who had the privilege of knowing you.

I will think of Connie fondly, I enjoyed playing with her going back to the Milton Band. But most of all I thank her for showing me that concert dress in black and white need not be boring. Because of her I strive to be more interesting in my concert apparel. God Bless You, Connie.

We will all miss your woderful playing and sense of humor. You made all of us better musicians and better perple.

Connie, I will miss sitting next to you. We always played in tune and had the same interpretation of the music. We had lively conversations. My memories of you will always bring a smile. I expect you are now playing the most beautiful music ever known. I'll think of you that way and hope you save a seat for me.
