David Joseph Carroll

Loving brother of Amy Carroll Flynn and her husband Lawrence of Duxbury and Leanne Carroll of Scituate. He was the proud “Uncle Davey” to his cherished niece and nephews Hailey, Andrew, Ryan and John Flynn.

Grandson of Elizabeth Cooney and the late Peter Cooney and the late John and Eleanor Carroll.

David was a nephew to many and a cousin to even more. He was a friendly, lovable person and leaves behind so very many special people that made up his vast network of friends: more wonderful friends than anyone could ask for in a lifetime.

David graduated Boston College High School in 2009 and went on to Elon University in NC, where he graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Accounting and was a member of Kappa Sig. He has been working as a financial analyst in Boston. He was a passionate sports enthusiast, both as a spectator and an athlete. He played hockey at BC High and Elon and was a member at Hatherly Country Club.

Of all David’s life endeavors, the time he enjoyed most was the time he spent with his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A gathering will be announced at the conclusion of Mass. Interment will take place privately. Visiting hours are omitted.
