

Beloved wife of the late Wayne W. Devoted mother of Joseph L. and his partner Darryl Hagman of Ann Arbor, MI, Elizabeth G. “Betsy” of Dorchester, Katherine W. “Katy” and her husband Jeff Kingman of Vallejo, CA, and Edward H. “Ed” and his partner Andrew Porter of New Orleans, LA. Dear sister of Anne W. Crocker of Winchester, VA, and the late Joyce C. Ward of Cockeysville, MD. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime and respected former employee of Hale and Dorr (WilmerHale), Boston. A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, she moved to Scituate in 1967 and fell in love with her adopted town. She was a member-actress of many dramatic societies: Baltimore Comic Opera, Scituate Theatre Guild and Cohasset Dramatic Club. She volunteered as a docent at the Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, and as a researcher at the Massachusetts [State] Archives in Boston. She served as the Chair, Board of Trustees of the Scituate Historical Society, and as a member of the Historical Commission for the Town of Scituate.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial service in celebration of her life, to be held Saturday, December 20 at 2:00 PM, at the Scituate GAR Hall, 353 Country Way, Scituate.
