Ernest Gerald Harold

Ernest G. “Gerry” Harold-Age 88, of Marshfield Hills, passed away surrounded by his loving family, November 3, 2017. Gerry was a distinguished World War II and Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy until his retirement in 1968 as a Chief Petty Officer. His greatest years were those spent as a seaman. His last assignment was on the USS John Paul Jones. After Retirement, he worked as a Procurement Agent at General Dynamics Shipyard of Quincy. Gerry was an active member of St. Christine's Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Gerry is survived by his children; Lorie DiLorenzo of Plymouth, Gerry O’Donoghue and her husband Kevin of Scituate, Beth Fellini and her husband John of Carver, Daniel Harold and his wife Joan of Plymouth, Jackie Williams and her husband Eddie of Marshfield. He was a proud grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 5.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 9am from St. Christine’s Catholic Church, 1295 Main St, Marshfield, MA. Private family burial to take place following the service.
