Jim was a retired professional broadcaster and worked many years for WRUL and WJIB. He was an avid ham radio operator (W1TMC) and saltwater fisherman.
Loving father of Jeff and his wife JoEllen of Pelham, NY, Lynne Crocker and her husband Gabe of Scituate. Brother of Helen Freniere of NY, Ron Howard of NH, Bob Howard of OK, Gerald Howard of WI, the late Carol Litchfield, Roger and Joe Howard. Proud grandfather of Jack and Charlotte Howard and Ian Crocker. Also survived by his companion, Dell Hancock of Halifax and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 12th in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St, Scituate at 10AM. Visiting hours are omitted and burial will be private.
