

Mr. Leu was born in Kitchener, Ontario and raised in nearby New Hamburg. A standout athlete, he was an award winning member of the Northeastern University men’s hockey team. After receiving his degree in engineering, Mr. Leu worked as a civil and environmental engineer until his retirement in early 2000.
An avid follower of the Boston sports scene, he enjoyed watching his beloved Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins and never missed an opportunity to discuss current events and politics with friends and family.
Mr. Leu is survived by a son, John E. Leu and his wife Danielle, of Brooklyn, NY and two daughters, Kathleen A. Leu of Scituate, MA and Kristen S. Leu of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by two brothers, Fred Leu and Ken Leu, both of Ontario, Canada, a niece and several nephews, along with four grandchildren.
Mr. Leu is predeceased by his parents, John Leu and Almeda Leu (nee Forler).
