Devoted brother of Donald A. Young and his wife Deborah A. of Scituate and the late Richard Young. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
Jeffrey grew up and lived in Scituate most of his life. He graduated from Scituate High School and worked at Wear Guard in Norwell for 20 years as a Janitor.
He enjoyed fishing and reading about birds He was a quiet person but he never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 17th from 10AM to Noon at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA Funeral service to follow immediately at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Meals on Wheels Program, South Shore Elder Services, 1515 Washington Street, Braintree, MA 02184 or a charity of your choice.
