Ferlazzo-Joseph Ferlazzo of Needham and Bradenton, FL, passed on May 21st, 2011 at age 94. Joe was born on the island of Filicudi in Italy and came to the US in 1924 through Ellis Island. He became an Eagle Scout and was a devoted scout master for many years. He had a long career at Remington Rand. Joe had a love of the outdoors, which he exhibited in his multitude of oil paintings. Husband of the late Katharine (Kelheur) and Viola (St. Lawrence). Loving father of Leslie and his wife Susan of Newburyport, Veda and her husband Preston R. Clark, Jr. of Scituate. Brother of Anthony of Natick and Thomas Ferlazzo of Newton. Grandfather of Joseph and Sarah Ferlazzo. Great-grandfather of Nicholas Ferlazzo. Joseph will be interred in Bradenton, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA 02472
