Laura grew up in Dorchester, the beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Doodoo (Gulesian) Darian. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School. She worked for many years as an Executive Administrative Assistant for John Hancock Life Insurance Company and retired in 1987. A gifted artist, she had a passion for painting and drawing.
She was the loving sister of Leo G. Darian and his late wife Loretta (Downs) of Scituate and Edward S. Darian and his wife Rachael of Scituate. Dear aunt of Blair Darian of Scituate, Kim Darian Stewart of Scituate and Dwight Darian of Canton. Great aunt of Max Darian and Ellie Darian.
Visiting hours will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE. Funeral home service on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Boston.
