Devoted wife of the late John M. Donahue.
Marie is survived by her loving children, Michael and his wife Karen of Marietta, GA, Catherine Murphy and her husband Peter of Norwell, Paul of Hingham, William of Westwood and Neal and his wife Elizabeth of Norwell, sister of Jean Mulhern of Scituate, beloved grandmother of 10, and many nieces and nephews.
Marie and John raised their family in Braintree and later moved to their beloved summer house by the lighthouse in Scituate. They also enjoyed many years in Port Charlotte, FL. Marie was a member of the Scituate Sandhillettes, Red Hat Society and Scituate Country Club.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 19th from 4PM to 8PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20th at 10AM in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St. Scituate followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
