Oram-Marie Teresa (Callahan) of Scituate passed on August 28, 2010 age 95. Wife of the late Francis X. Oram. Marie was born and raised in Roxbury and a graduate of Roxbury Memorial H.S. She lived in Roslindale for 20 years before moving to Scituate in 1983. Marie worked for N.E. Telephone for 30 years and retired in 1978. She was a member of The Moose, W. Roxbury and parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Scituate. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was considered “Nana” to everyone that she met. Marie enjoyed playing bingo at the Knights of Columbus, Scituate, all kinds of music and dancing. Loving mother of Marie Denneen and her husband the late James E. of Scituate, and the late Francix X. Oram, Jr. Devoted grandmother of Kathleen and Patricia Denneen, Susan Madan, Elizabeth and Kathleen Oram. Also survived by 3 nieces. Funeral From the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Wed, Sept. 1st at 9:30AM followed by a Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Scituate at 10:30AM. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, W. Roxbury. Visiting hours Tuesday from 3-7PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Foyer of Charity, 74 Hollett St, Scituate, MA 02066.
