McDonough-Mark Michael of Scituate passed away at home on August 4th, 2010 age 95. Beloved husband of Patricia Murphy McDonough. Mr. McDonough was a graduate of English High School and Bentley College. After college he served for four years in the US Army Air Corps. He worked for the US Treasury Dept. for 40 years, upon retirement he worked for the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office for two years. Father of James McDonough of Scituate, Mary Holmes and her husband Mitchell of Plymouth, and Stephen McDonough and his wife Nancy of Bolton. Brother of Rita Creeden, the late William and Thomas McDonough, Anna Hogan and Virginia McDonough. Grandfather of James Jr, Robert and Mark McDonough, and Ashley and Mark Holmes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Monday, Aug. 9th at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate at 10AM. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
