Pauline C. "Ma" Barrows

Pauline Cecelia (Roderiques) Barrows, age 79, of Scituate passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2015. She was the devoted wife of the late Walter James Barrows, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. He preceeded her in death in 1992.

Born December 21, 1935 in Scituate, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Josephine and John Roderiques.

Pauline was known to many as “Ma.” She was the beloved mother of Paullette Rodrigues Bradsher of Taunton, MA, Mona Barrows of Scituate, MA, Walter Barrows, Jr. of Taunton, MA, Darin Barrows of Scituate, MA, Julie Barrows of Wareham, MA, Antoinette Barrows of Rockland, MA and Richard Barrows of Scituate, MA.

She was the loving sister of Roy Roderiques of Scituate, MA, Rita Barrows of Scituate, MA, Joyna Bozzotto of Hyde Park, MA, Gail Wilkinson of Swampscott, MA, Theresa Childress of Memphis, TN and the late Robert Roderiques formerly of Taunton, MA.

She was the cherished and proud grandmother of 33 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to be held Friday April 10th at 9 AM from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street Scituate, MA at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will take place Thursday April 9th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
