Angela M. Cervantes

Angela M. Cervantes, 99, of Scottsbluff died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Flott officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel between 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Saturday and from 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Angela was born October 1, 1907 in San Francisco De Borja, Chihuahua, Mexico. In 1919 she immigrated to the United States. She married Juan Cervantes October 27, 1924 in Las Animas, CO and moved to Scottsbluff in 1926. She loved family gatherings, and yard sales to sell her crafts. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Dolores (Sally) Cervantes of Fort Collins, CO, Balentin (Vickie) Cervantes of Scottsbluff, NE, Angel (Rita) Cervantes of Gering, NE, John (Arlene) Cervantes and Steve (Connie) Cervantes all of Scottsbluff, NE, and Trinidad Cervantes of Omaha, NE; Daughters and sons-in-law: Elisa (Carmelo) Reyes of Gering, NE, Mary (Carlos) Cordova and Carol (Orlando) Sanchez all of Denver, CO; 35 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, sons: Manuel and Joe and daughters –in-law: Esther and Justine.
