Angela Leigh Jewett

Angela Leigh Jewett, 37, of Gering, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Gary Cole officiating. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. Inurnment will occur at a later date in California. Angela was born Dec. 20, 1974 in Anaheim, Calif. to Micheal and Shelly (Haller) Coon. She received her education in Buena Park, Calif. and graduated from Buena Park High School in 1992. She married Jess Jewett Feb. 2, 2002 in Newport Beach, Calif. They moved to the Scottsbluff-Gering area in August of 2002. Angela was a property preservation specialist at Aurora Loan Services until ill health forced her retirement. Angela was a member of the Scottsbluff Volunteer Fire Department and CERT, loved camping, photography and spending time with her family and friends.
