Audrey Lackman

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:30 am at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Hebbert officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Audrey was born on December 28, 1944, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Fred and Selma (Willman) Weber. She received her early education in Lingle and graduated from Ft. Laramie High School. She attended Chadron State College.

She married Jacob “Jack” Lackman on November 26, 1967, in Torrington, Wyoming and made their home in the Lyman-Huntley area. To this union they had a daughter, Laurie, and a son, Clint.

Audrey was a homemaker and farm worker. She played as an organist for many years and enjoyed every bit of it. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Lyman, NE.

In her later years, she worked at the courthouse in Gering, NE, where she met several people, she treasured working with.

Audrey’s real joy was her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Laurie (Keenan) Gaab and son Clint Lackman; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law.
