

Barbara Jean Kramer, wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the end of a beautiful sunset on Sunday, November 18, 2007. She leaves behind her valiant battle with pain and illness, as well as the aching hearts of her family whom she loved and who loved her deeply. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2007 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jake Roberts officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Ogallala Cemetery in Ogallala with Pastor Ray Nelson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 8:30 am until service time. The Barbara Jean Kramer Memorial Fund has been established in care of the family. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Barbara was born February 11, 1934 in Syracuse, Kansas to Merle E. and Adriana C. (Ortgysen) Pitcher, who preceded her to glory. She grew up in Ogallala, NE graduating from Ogallala High School. She married Donald L. Kramer November 14, 1953 in Ogallala. Barbara and Don moved to Salt Lake City, Utah on Palm Sunday 1959 and lived there until they moved back to Ogallala and finally Scottsbluff in 2003. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved us all unconditionally, never spoke ill of anyone, never complaining during her long illness, always hopeful, until the Lord called her home. She is the loving mother of Clark (Leesa) Kramer, Salt Lake City, Utah, Peggy (Greg) Smith, Salt Lake City, Utah and Allen (Tina) Kramer, Bonita Springs, FL; four granddaughters: Brianna Kramer, Omaha, NE, Adriana Good, Nashville, TN, Corey Snyder, Oak Park, MI and Hillary Kramer, Dublin, Ireland.
