Brian L. Combs, 52, of Scottsbluff, NE, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Regional West Medical Center. Cremation has taken place at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Brian was born May 6, 1957 in Portland, OR to Frank J. and Marjorie G. (Plaster) Combs. Brian entered the Navy where he served on a nuclear submarine and was an instructor for submarine nuclear propulsion plant operators. He came to Scottsbluff in 2000. He is survived by his mother Marjorie Combs, Scottsbluff, NE; daughter: Marjorie of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren; brothers: Rex (Sandra) Combs, Louisville, KY and Larry (Diane) Combs, Houston, TX; uncle: John (Ann) Plaster, Scottsbluff, NE; aunt: Laura Staley, Gering, NE and several cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his father.
