Miss Cierra Janis, or as most fondly knew her as Cboo, was born March 17, 1997, to Edward Janis Sr and Iva Poor Bear. She entered this world with the strong determination that she showed throughout her life by pushing her own twin brother out with her feet. She spent her younger years as a free spirit creating laughter and love wherever she roamed. As she grew up, she continued spreading happiness and befriending many others into her bubble of laughter. She had the type of laugh that no one could resist giggling along with. Most of her school years were spent in Scottsbluff and Gering before she journeyed off to the job corps where she studied for her CNA.
Once she had obtained her certification, she spent some time here and there working but most notably she worked in South Dakota. She gave her time and care to those at White River, Rosebud and Mission Health Centers. She truly enjoyed being a traveling CNA if her children were not too far behind.
She adored her boys and loved to experience every minute she could with them. Her kids were her whole life. Cboo didn't always experience the best in life, but you could never tell by how she would light up a room with her jokes and smiles. Even after enduring the loss of her beloved mother and cherished daughter Mila, she braved the darkness and grief and showed us what we all knew, she was truly resilient. She continued this beautiful journey of life holding on to the love of her kids, siblings, family and friends despite all the loss and tribulations. She was always looking for ways to better herself and become the best version of herself which is what led her to start anew in Kearney, Nebraska. She was on the verge of a new adventure when God called her home far too soon for any of us to accept.
Cierra was preceded in death by her Auntie "bone", daughter Mila, mother Iva and Grandfather Hanson.
She is survived by her father, sons Ezekiel, Zaevian, and Kaius Douville and Adriel Janis. Her twin Edwin, sisters Angela, Felicia, Elizabeth and Andrea and brother Edward “Stewy”.
