Dena Lee Menze, 68, of Scottsbluff, died Sunday morning, November 8, 2009, at her home. A gathering in her memory will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at The Feather Farm, 240066 County Road C, north eight miles from the Days Inn and one mile east. Cremation was at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. Dena was born December 13, 1940, at Holdrege, Nebraska, one nine children to Royal and Catherine (Adkins) Blauvelt. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Larry Menze; their children, Diane Nelson, Daniel Hovda, Marla Miller, Tammy Linner and David Menze; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Dena loved her family, Jesus, animals and swimming. She was firm minded and liked a good argument. She will be greatly missed here, but she is in the company of angels now. Love always, her family.
