Denis Lyons of Crawford, NE died Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was born in Waterford, Ireland and moved to America as a teenager. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force and then spent most of his life working with disadvantaged youth in California. In 2000 he retired to Crawford.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine of 41 years, cousins; Darin O’Keefe, Noel O’Keefe, Delores (Michael) McLawrence, Moira O’Shea and Uncle Bernard O’Keefe all of Waterford, Ireland, and cousin; Geoff Appleby of NS Wales, Australia.
As per his request cremation was held and there will be no funeral services.
