Helen was born in Scottsbluff Nebraska October 9, 1925.
Helen was a member of Grace Chapel. Helen was employed at Montgomery Ward credit department for 25 years, Helen also worked at Woolworth for 7 years.
Helen graduated from Minatare High School in 1944, married Harvey Bauer on June 22, 1945 in this union two children were born Karen Kay Schanhols and Gary (Marcia) Bauer.
She is survived by sister Jeanette (George) Hall of Bridgeport, half brother David (Peggy) Martin of South Dakota, half sister Gaylynn (Doug) Afdahl, half-sister Deborah Martin, daughter Karen Kay Schanhols and Gary (Marcia) Bauer, she had five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her father David and mother Katherine Martin, Brothers Ruben and Victor Martin.
