Larry L. Guy, 48, of Minatare, died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Ron Nuss-Warren officiating. Cremation was held in Colorado. Memorials have been established to Brittney Guy’s education fund or to the Heart Association. Larry was born September 20, 1960 in Alliance, Ne to Lloyd and Marlene (Lawler) Guy. He moved with his family to Mesa, AZ in 1965 and graduated from high school in Mesa in 1978. He owned a trucking firm for a while before going to work for Talley Defense Systems in Mesa. He married Brenda Mortensen December 26, 1996 in Queen Creek, AZ. Larry moved to Minatare in September of 2005 where he owned and operated their farm. Larry was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter, Brittney Lurray Guy; parents Lloyd and Marlene Guy of Queen Creek, AZ; sisters Laura Guy, Mesa, AZ and Paula Bourlier, Gilbert, AZ; aunt and uncle Pat and John Kembel of Scottsbluff and uncle Burnell Guy of Lincoln, NE. Larry was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a niece Tanya Rae.
