Lila L. Edwards

Lila L. Edwards, 93, of Sinclair, Wyo., died October 25, 2015 at Western Nebraska Veterans Home in Scottsbluff. At her request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at later date. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com.

Lila was born on September 11, 1922 at Mills, Neb., to Carl and Dorothy (Hamman) Larsen. She received her early education in the Sinclair, Wyo. Schools, graduating from Rawlins High School in Wyo.,

Lila was united in marriage to Jack R. Edwards on July 18, 1943 at San Diego, Cal. They made their home in Sinclair, Wyo., after they returned from their service in World War II. During that time, she served in the United States Air Force until her honorable discharge in November of 1944.

Lila loved her family and her hobbies were embroidery and crossword puzzles.

Lila was a member of Eastern Star.

Lila is survived by her sons Brett (Jan) Edwards of Thornton, Col., and Dick (Bonnie) Edwards of Rawlins, Wyo., daughter Teresa Edwards of McMinnville, Ore., seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother Norman (Edna) Larsen of Rock Springs, Wyo., and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, sister Dorothy Tierney, parents Carl and Dorothy Larsen and one grandson.
