

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Evangelical Free Church in Gering with Pastor Ken Boston officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Maxine was born July 20, 1925 in Alliance, Nebraska to Mike and Rose (Tjardes) Siebenaler. Maxine’s family moved to Gering her senior year, where she graduated. Maxine worked at the telephone office and meat packing plant in Scottsbluff. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Brown September 29, 1947 in Sidney, Nebraska. She spent the rest of her life on the farm except for one year living in Gering.
Maxine was most happy when friends and family were around. She enjoyed just visiting or playing a few games of Pinochle. Her joy was knowing that her family was doing okay.
Maxine was a member of the Harrisburg Community Church and a longtime member of the Wrights Extension Club.
Maxine is survived by her sons: Tom Brown, Johnson City, Kansas, Mike Brown, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and Robin (Tamara) Brown, Harrisburg, Nebraska; granddaughter, Carmen Brown and great grandson Kaden, Chadron, Nebraska and sister, Boni Soto, Kimball, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, daughter Mary and her sister Glad.
