Margie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. She was born to Beryle and Clyde Stratton on March 16, 1926, in Scottsbluff and passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2007, in her home in West Covina, Calif. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. The family lived in the Lake Alice community before they moved to Scottsbluff. Margie graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1943. Margie is survived by her husband of 60 years, John; sons Rob and wife Pat of Janesville, Calif., Marty and wife Paula of Villanova, Pa.; five grandchildren; sister Audrey Hamburger of Scottsbluff; brother-in-law Kenneth Love of Phoenix, Ariz., nieces Connie Miles and Patti Larsen of Scottsbluff, Lori Jacobs of Minatare; and nephews Lorin Love of Birmingham, Ala., and Gary Barbour of Las Vegas, Nev. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eleanor Barbour and Evelyn Mae Love, grandson Jacob Cheatle and nephew Dana Barbour. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Doug Keener officiating.
