Mary Louise DeWitt

Mary Louise DeWitt, 70, of Scottsbluff, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 4, 2006. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Loren Spellman and LeRoy Sanford officiating. Interment will be in the Mitchell City Cemetery. The Mary Louise DeWitt Memorial Fund has been established. Mary was born August 10, 1935 in Angora, NE to Samuel and Maude (Rubottom) Loomis. She grew up on a homestead in the sandhills of Angora with her three brothers and three sisters. Mary married Donald W. DeWitt on January 31, 1955 in Bridgeport, NE. From this blessed union came son Duane DeWitt and wife Martha and son Norman DeWitt all of Scottsbluff, daughter Kathy Agnew and husband Michael, son Neil DeWitt, daughter, Donna Hauck all of Ft. Collins, and daughter Dee Ann DeWitt of Mitchell, NE. Mary was also blessed with many grandchildren: Kosha Johnson, and husband Bryan, Garrison and Chelsy Hauck, Joshua and Rebecca DeWitt, Kristina Jolliffe, Daniel and Marissa DeWitt, Jeremiah, Jacob and Mary Agnew and two great granddaughters. Mary was preceded in death by her son Loren DeWitt, and her parents. She will be greatly missed by all.
