Mary Caroline (Frerichs) Mauer, 90, of Scottsbluff, died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 18, 1925 in Cheyenne County one of 11 children born to William and Bertie (Wickard) Frerichs. She was united in marriage to Don Mauer on June 5, 1940.
Mary is survived by daughters Janice (Harley) Greever of Scottsbluff and Barbara (Leonard) York of Gering; son Terry (Sindi) Mauer of Morrill; nine grandchildren Bradley Greever, Donny Greever, Virginia Kniss, Ricky York, Tami King, Troy Mauer, Chad Mauer, Leslie Cross, and Wesley Mauer; 20 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; sister Bonnie Tunin; sister-in-law Ethel Frerichs; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, son Kenneth, and brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be given in care of the family. Dugan-Kramer Chapel and Crematory is assisting the family.
