Maynard Andy Aronson

Maynard “Andy” Aronson, 79, of Bayard, died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the VA Medical Center in Cheyenne, WY. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 19th, 2006 at the Bayard Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ron Nuss-Warren officiating. Interment will be in the Bayard Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered by the US Air Force Honors Team. Andy lived a very full and rich life. He was an adventurer who loved to travel and thoroughly enjoyed visiting with his many friends and family members. He was most proud of his service to his country. He retired from a 20 plus year career in the Air Force on November 1, 1967. He was stationed in Morocco, Japan, Germany, Montana, South Carolina, Virginia and Oklahoma throughout his career. His travels included Greece, Italy, Libya and Turkey. He married a wonderful woman, Grace Muzzy, in 1950 that shared in his life until her death in September 1998. After his Air Force career, he was a purchasing agent for hospitals in The Dalles, Oregon and Alliance, NE. He enjoyed his friends, took pride in the VFW and helped out at the museum when he could. Andy was a loving father, grandfather and a friend to all he met. Survivors included his three sons; John Aronson of Peoria, AZ, Dan Aronson and wife Jan, their children Rob and Lisa of Houston, TX and Gary Aronson and wife Lura and daughter Alicia of Bettendorf, IA. His parents, beloved brother Idor and wife Grace preceded him in death.
