Michael E Dunn

Michael E Dunn, aged 62, of Scottsbluff, NE passed away April 23, 2015 at Regional West Medical Center. At his request cremation has taken place and per his wishes there will not be a memorial service. Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Mike was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Scottsbluff on November 26, 1952 to Robert and Liane (Colling) Dunn. Mike was raised in Scottsbluff along with his loving sister Genevieve Dunn. In January 1982, Mike was married to Charlotte Hoban. Together they have three children: Kelly Dunn, 28, Robert Dunn, 28, and Joe Dunn, 25.

Mike had over a 30 year career with Burlington Northern and Union Pacific as a brakeman and a conductor. Mike spent his free time living life to the fullest. He loved motorcycles and regularly attended the Sturgis Bike Rally in South Dakota. He also took great pride in his bikes, particularly his customized Notre Dame bike. Mike had an impressive appreciation for music and had a vast record collection that covered Blues, Soul and Rock N Roll. Mike loved to share these passions with children. Mike enjoyed spending time with his Hights family and found great companionship with his longtime and very special friend, Pat.

Mike will be remembered for his humor, wit, and never shying away from a good time.

He is survived by his three children and sister.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
