

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Mitchell Cemetery. The family requests casual attire for the service. Visitation will be from 3-7 P.M. on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to the Panhandle Humane Society. Roxanne was born on January 16, 1963 at Scottsbluff to Sandra (Barr) and Richard Greene. She received her early education in Mitchell graduating from Gering High School. She attended WNCC in Scottsbluff and graduated in 1997.
Roxanne had two children from her first marriage, Stewart Matthew Clawson and Whitnie Melissa Clawson. On August 16, 1997, Roxanne married Matthew Hashagen at Wildcat Hills Nature Center. They made their home in Mitchell.
Roxanne liked antiques and always had a creative project in the works for her and Matt to work on. She loved repurposing things and finding new creative ways to use old things. She was an animal lover and her dogs were always spoiled. She was a fan and supporter of the local United Way and Humane Society. She loved to dance and listen to music. She enjoyed making others happy. Roxanne was always looking forward to the next planned gathering with family and friends, and trip to the Black Hills. Rox inspires us all to be the best we can be. She was a good kid, wife, mom, and friend.
Survivors include husband Matthew Hashagen; son Stewart Clawson and special friend Heidi Strauch; daughter Whitnie Clawson; parents Richard and Sandra Greene; sister Penny (Tom) Cooper; brother Donald Greene; grandfather Donald Barr; nephew Grant Greene and special friend Kylie Sauter and their son Braxton Greene, nephew Jaymes Reilly; brother-in-law Jim Reilly and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her sister Dina; paternal grandparents Clarence and Merle Greene; and maternal grandmother Clara Barr.
