Ruth was born March 30, 1927, to Henry and Amalia “Mollie” (Temple) Feagler, in Scottsbluff, and she has been a lifelong resident of Scottsbluff and Gering. Since the early 50’s Ruth lived with her sister Irene and brother in-law John Hoffman. She had a variety of jobs in her young life, which included working at Hauserman’s Drug Store and Hauke Drug Store as a register clerk. Ruth then worked for L.B. Murphy in the business office. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Reinhardt until his retirement; she then finished her career working at Wal-Mart.
Like many farm children in the 20’s and 30’s Ruth was schooled through the eighth grade. Then Ruth’s greatest personal achievement came in 1964 when she proudly received her GED from Scottsbluff College.
In her late teens and early twenties, Ruth had many friends and played with the Taylor-Tots girls’ softball team. Later she enjoyed her Alpha Epsilon Sorority activities. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church.
Ruth will be missed by her family, and they would like to thank everyone at The Village and the Golden Living Center for their wonderful care of Ruth.
Ruth is survived by her brother, David (Sandra) Feagler, sister-in-law, Arlene Feagler all of Torrington, Wyo., and 19 loving nephews and nieces, and many great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lydia Keller of Worland, Wyo.; sister, Irene Hoffman of Scottsbluff, NE; brothers, Henry, Lawrence, and Leroy Feagler all of Torrington Wyo.
