

Theodore “Ted” Eugene Brown, 70, of Scottsbluff, died peacefully in his home Saturday, March 11, 2006, after bravely enduring several years of illness. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff, with Pastor Jake Roberts officiating. Private family inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Ted was born September 15, 1935 in Torrington, WY. to Roy and Mildred (Martin) Brown. He was raised and received his education in the Lyman area, graduating with the class of 1955. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Ziegler on November 25, 1956 in Scottsbluff. They made their home in Scottsbluff where they raised three daughters and were foster parents for several teenage girls. Ted had many skills and tried a variety of business ventures. He owned and operated a stucco-construction company, which he worked at up until the time of his illness. He collected antiques, loved animals and was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He was a very loving person, always willing to lend a hand and do whatever he could for anyone he could. He will be sadly missed by Patty, his wife of 49 years, his daughters; Jody Faulk, Diana and husband Rocky Dilley, and Sandy Archbold, all of Scottsbluff, grandchildren; Crystal and special friend Scott, Jeremiah and wife Heather, Amber, Samantha, Josh and special friend Ashley, Katie, Dustin and special friend Cassie, Great-granddaughter Alexi, whose hugs and kisses always brightened his day, brothers-in-law and sisters-in law: Marvin and Carol Ziegler of Scottsbluff, Virgil and Keitha Ziegler of Mitchell and Dorothy Ziegler of Gering, and numerous cousins. He was the rock and foundation of our family and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Herbert Ziegler.
