Tom was born on December 13, 1944 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Carl G and Margaret (Loos) Nuss. He graduated from Minatare High School in 1963. Later graduated from Denver Tech School. He entered the U. S. Army on June of 1970 and was honorably discharged on January of 1972. He returned to Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Tom was a talented musician and he was employed and later owner of Renzelman’s House of Music. Retiring from Swire Coke Cola December 2016.
Tom loved anything mechanical and technical.
His passion of his many vehicles over the years including the black Chevy van, multiple Corvettes, his red Jeep and motorcycles and recently his custom trike. He was a perfectionist on his vehicles. He entered in numerous car shows (including motorcycles and trikes). He took pleasure in seeing people of all ages enjoying his vehicles at the shows. He won many trophies and plaques over the years. Tom was an active member of the High Plains Auto Club.
He enjoyed traveling to many places including Sturgis Bike Rally, Daytona Bike Rally. He loved traveling to Pickers, Barrett Jackson and many other places in his Dodge Duly pickup with camper.
Tom is survived by his son Brian (Reini) Nuss and their sons Ryan and Brandon; his daughter Brenda (Tim) Engstrom and their sons Benjamin and David; brothers Jim (Rosetta) Nuss and Gary Nuss; one nephew and two nieces; many other family members. Best friend and companion for life Janet Wilson and her family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Lynda Nuss.
