Verna “Louise” Renzelman, 104, formerly of Scottsbluff, Nebraska died Friday, December 2, 2016 at Heritage Estates in Gering. Per her request, cremation has taken place at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel and Crematory and no visitation or public service will be held. Louise was born November 24, 1912 to George Fielding and Eliza A. (Faris) Copenhaver in Syracuse, Nebraska. She married Carl August “Gus” Renzelman on June 18, 1932 in Scottsbluff where the couple made their home. She was active in many volunteer groups and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She and her husband were business partners in Renzelman’s House of Music for 20 years before their retirement. Gus died in 1983. Louise moved to the Village at Regional West as a Charter Resident in 1991 and then as resident at Heritage Estates in Gering in 2010.
Louise is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Mary of Woolrich, PA and grandsons Brek in Milwaukee and Todd in Cleveland.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and one sister.
