W. Lynn Meyer, 65 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Heritage Health Care Center in Gering. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Father Cope Mitchell officiating. Abiding with her request, cremation was at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory.She was born on February 18, 1940 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Harlan and Eileen (Ward) Meyer. She received her education in Scottsbluff graduating from Scottsbluff High School in 1959. She worked in a handicapped children’s school for 2 ½ years then trained for nurses aide for 4 years, later working at Regional West Medical Center and Gra Mar Manor. In 1968, she started dealing in antiques and retired in 1992. For many years, she was a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, Inc. She is survived by cousins, Trudy (Meyer) Frish of Scottsbluff, Kelly Farrell and Shelia Farrell both of Denton, TX, Gary Meyer of Gering, Beth (Meyer) Porter of Pierceston, Ind. and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
